Days 2, 3, & 4 in Korea~

Sorry for the laziness on updating~

Day 2:

Day 2 started by waking up reallllllllly early. I guess I was still jetlagged some. Breakfast was banana milk. BEST THING EVER! I’m in love with it~

The Korean on it says “The banana is naturally white”! hahahaha~

Anyway~ since Nichole had to teach that day, Keri and I went off to explore. We ended up in this cute blanket and stuffed animal shop. MOST AWKWARD SITUATION OF MY LIFE. The lady kept talking to us in Korean after I told her my Korean was very bad in korean. Just kept talking and talking and talking and trying to show us blankets even though we weren’t interested. Just very awkward all together. After that, Keri and I refused to walk into anyother store. Hahaha~ we ended up walking around 2 hours before arriving back at the apartment. After a few hours we ended up meeting Jikwon~ I’ve known him a little over a year and this was the first time meeting! Pretty exciting~ hahaha~

After meeting him, we headed over to where Nichole works to wait for her to finish. We ended up at Caffe Bene.

Next we went up to Nichole and then went to meet Nina and some of the other English teachers and went to eat samgyupsal (again!)~ It was delicious! We found ourselves in Suwon Station and went to noraebang and sang a few songs and drank a bit. (Side note: Jikwon has an amazing voice. All the other teachers were in love with him hahahaha) Anyway~ after singing, we ended up in Club Tao. I AM OFFICIALLY OBSESSED WITH KOREAN BOYS AND THEIR LINE DANCING. Omg! Most entertaining thing I’ve seen!

After dancing for several hours, we went home and slept. That night I only got 3 hours of sleep :(

Day 3:

We woke up around 9am so we could head to Seoul. (Nichole had a hair appointment at 11, which eventually was pushed back 2 hours) Anyway~ We took a bus from Suwon to Gangnam and then another bus from Gangnam to Itaewon. I wanna say this one thing and sorry if I offend anyone. I absolutely hate Itaewon! Anyway~~~~~~ehuuu. For lunch we got Kimchi Mandu! SO delicious! And for dessert Mango ice cream from Baskin Robbins (they are everywhere!!!!)

We found ourselves headed over to the bookstore after lunch because Keri and I wanted to buy new Korean study books and buy a tour guide book for going around Korea. I ended up getting this book. It’s soooo cute~

After that we went to get Nichole’s hair done. And then ended up in Myeongdong and shopped at Forever 21 and H&M. I have never seen so many people in one store in my life!!! I ended up leaving with a new hat!

We were all so tired so we grabbed a smoothie and took the train home. Keri and I were really hungry so we ordered takeout. Kimchi pancakes! So delicious and fills you up!

Keri and Nichole decided to go clubbing in Hongdae but I decided not to go because I was very tired and wasn’t feeling too well. They didn’t arrive home until 9am the next morning! PARTY ANIMALS!

Day 4:

We woke up at 4pm today! WOW! I caught up on a LOT of sleep that I have been missing, obviously! We got ready and met up with Jikwon to eat some food! I ended up ordering Kimchi Jjigae~ a classic. Then headed to Suwon Station to go to Artbox! fjdklajfal;dfjkla;fjafk; cute stationary…my weakness.

Ended up buying some pens and some socks. Hehe~ We then went to a cafe and got some smoothies and walked around to see some stores. We saw some bunnies for sale! SOO CUUUUUTE~ I would have bought one, but I can’t take it home with me on the plane :(

We took the last bus home and then ate some delicious chicken. Seeing this picture and writing about it, it makes me want to have some right now!! I know what I’m eating for lunch tomorrow! Haha~
